another long but short weekend
Hokay.... Well, like most weekends this one started on a friday.... at 1:30 ish I called Travis and was all "hey if I payed you enough money do you think you could drive me south about an hour." and he was like "well, I'm doing something later but if we leave in about right now, I could take you." so, I said "aight." I then called my mother at her work to let her know I was coming home and she was just "oh, well I was planning on going to fond du lac tonight anyway....{ which is half way between home (mayville) and home (oshkosh)}... so if you want to just meet there we could do that." i then talked it over with travis and called my mother back and said "cool beans" and then we left for fond du lac (we = Travis, Shelly (Travis' girlfriend), Abby (my girlfriend), and Myself). The plan was my mom would meet Abby and I and we would shop around FDL for a while. So we go to our meeting spot (wal-mart of course) and my mom says that my brotheris was going to pennsylvania for 8 - 10 months and that he was supposed to leave that morning, but the there were difficulties and he was actually leaving later.... 8ish.... so..... my mom said we are going to meet him in milwaukee. so, I asked Abby if she had plans and she said no and so we went with my mom to milwaukee (about 1.3 hours south of Fond du lac {we = Sherry (my mom), Abby (my beautiful girlfriend), and me}. so, we met James (my brother), Tom (my dad), Patrick (my young brother who didn't go to pennsylvania), Emily (my little sister), and Amy (my sister's friend who was there because it was emily's birthday and they all went to the Milwaukee Art Museum { they all = all the people in the last actual sentence}).Confused yet? good. So, we had dinner as a family (and two non-family members) at burger king. yum yum. after that we took james to the bus station (we = Mom, James, Patrick, Abby and me {the other three left for home, because they were hang'n with James all day at the museum}). The bus station was in downtown milwaukee. So, I felt a bit out of place. While we were waiting for the bus to start loading.... james whipped out his guitar and showed me a few licks. I hadn't heard his music in a while. all at once his familiar playing filled my ears and was overcome with joy. I really liked his riff. He only plays with 4 strings you know. So, then he left... and it was kind of sad but in a good way. Then we went home.
Saturday, I woke up at 7:30 in the a.m. I thought is was 9ish. but I was wrong but it felt like 9 so I stayed awake. I had a good breakfast. My mom made pancake. yum yum they were good. Then I went to the Mayville Public Library and picked up my CDs. Then, I went with my mom to pick up some smooth stones for a children's church project. Then fond du lac to get a modem for my parents computer. Then I came home... installed the modem... and signed up for AOL (50 free days). Then Abby came over. We had a nice dinner ( we = Mom, Dad, Abby, and I). Then we left for campus (we = Abby and me {abby brought her car back and is keeping it here for 2 weeks.}). We watched Best in Show and then went to bed (seperate beds {seperate rooms [seperate dorms]}).
Sunday, I woke up at the appropiate time and went to church. It was nice. Abby was there also (she came with her friend, becky). There was a potluck after church (it was de-lish yum yum.) Then I went and hung out with the guys from 12 30 - 3ish (the guys = Caleb, Jared, Hoban, Cory, Zac, and me). Then I went to play keyboard for a youth group from 3ish -7ish (Caleb asked if I would play and I said yes). Then I went to a bible study from 8 -10:30ish. Then I am here now.... thinking of my amazing girlfriend, Abby.... Today we have been together for 8 months. YAY!
Abby, I love you so much!!! Thank you for being the greatest thing in the world!!!!

wednesday
so today is wednesday.... and another fine day comes to a close. Nothing too special happened today.... I did my laundry..... and then I had supper with Abby.... then I helped her study for psychology.... then we watched MXC... then she left... like and I ordered pizza... then I watched boondock aaints..... then mike said I should update my blog... and then I said...... ok.

My weekend in summation
Well, friday I went to my physics class and sat next to my good buddy Clint. I asked him what he was doing for the night and he said he was going back to mayville (our shared hometown) for the night to play in the pep band for an alumni B-ball game. I said hey... I might go with you. so that was that... and I did go with him that night and Abby came along too and we all played pep band (I play trumpet, Abby plays clarinet, and clint plays tuba) so that was fun, but I hurt my lips something good (they are still sore). oh well. after the game there was party at clint's parent's house. They had 127 christmas trees that clint's bro picked up from around mayville. They burned them all. It was good fun. It is about the 4th year they've done that. so, that was fun. then we came back to oshkosh at 2 in the morning. so... sweet.Saturday Hoss soldered my television back to health and now i have a tv and so does Mike (my roommate) and they are right next to each other (how silly) oh well. then Hoss and I jammed with each other on pianos in the Arts and Communication Building on Campus. That was way fun.
This morning I was way to lazy to go to church. My alarm went off and I looked outside and said "there is no way I'm walking to church with all that snow" so I went to bed for another 1.5 hours. Then I hung out with my sophmore guy friends. I haven't done that all year... so it was nice. then, I didn't really do anything after that. Abby came and watched me play piano... I really enjoyed that. She is so amazing. I get really weird when I play my music... I get very emotional, not nessecarily crying or anything, but frustrated, depressed, etc. and that is how my music is expressed.... and abby just sits there and loves me. ......... sigh........ how grand it is to be living.

Moms.... I tell ya
Last night, my parents and little bro and sis, came up to Oshkosh and brought supper... and when I say brought I mean my mom made chicken cordon bleu, baked potatoes, fruit salad, rolls, and a cheese cake.... she brought it all to Oshkosh, still warm, picked Abby and I up and we went down the street to my aunt's house and ate there. Dang, that was sweet!! My mom is so creative. We did it to celebrate V-day. Which was nice cuz Abby and I didn't get to go on a dinner date or anything to celebrate... so this was pretty close. My mom even made rice krispy bars shaped like hershey kisses complete with aluminum foil rapping and tag thingy. geez. Also, My mom bought me a video tape of Teenage Mutatnt Ninja Turtles III. the one where they are samuris... I'm not really sure why, but it was nice (even though I had to explain that I didn't have a VCR and couldn't watch it up here.) So last night was a fun evening.Also, yesterday i implimented an RSS feed on my blog... so if any of you are avid readers and want to know when I update and so forth.... get the feed here.

A Manditory Happy Saint Valentine's Day to you all
So, I was sitting here at work and all of the sudden I'm think'n "It is Valentine's Day... I should post on my blog!!!" So, I guess that is what I'm doing. Nothing too new to write about around here. Thursday last, I went ..... wait let me back up.... Wednesday, I went to .... oh wait hold on.... I think it was monday I ordered some killer cd's from the Oshkosh public library. I was totally on a music kick last week. I ordered like 20 from the Mayville PL, but I haven't had a chance to pick them up yet. Anywho, Wednesday, I went to pick up my CDs at the OPL (oshkosh public library), I went with my friend Megan (she wanted to go to the exclusive company and the bank, which are in the same general area). so, We travelled downtown and she went to the bank and while I waited for her, I checked my balance... I had $58 dollars in my checking account. "that's good," I thought to myself "I will have enough money to do something nice for Abby for V-day" So, then I went to the library etc.Next day, (thursday), Mike convinces me to skip a piano performance of a 14 year old prodigy that I've been planning to see all year (seriously, the first time I saw it in august ... I said "i don't care what else is going on I am going to see that concert"). But the cause was just, I was going to Appleton to buy a Valentines gift for Abby. I knew that I wouldn't have another chance to do so before v-day(seeing as I don't have a car and am not good at sweet talking those that do). So I found myself at Build-a-Bear looking for something to buy for Abby. I settled on the monkey (abby is a fan {anyone who knows me can attest that I am also a monkey advocate}). SO, I go through the whole build a bear process filling it with love, fluffing it up, and giving it a name. Mike and Matt also got stuffed animals... they checked out first... then it was down to me. So, i swiped my debit card... the check-lady looked at the manager... the manager swiped my card... and then looked at me sadly and just shook her head. I knew instantly what that meant "Do I have enough money on my card?" I spewed with a desperate and sad look on my face. Another shake of the manager's head let me know my worst fears were confirmed. "but I just checked yesterday" I thought outloud "do you mind if I go check my balance on the ATM?" "No problem, we'll hold on to the bear.... monkey." so, to make a long story short.... someone cashed a check I forgot about and only had about 10 dollars to my name. Luckily, Mike (my roommate) was nice enough to lend me some cashage. So, that was Thursday.
Friday, Abby and I hung out for a while then she went to a movie with her girl-friends, afterward they did each other's hair and came and hung out with me and my boy, travis. Then, After Abby and Amy left... Travis and I went to Jeff's room where, meaning full well to play xbox all night, I promptly fell asleep. I awoke at 9 a.m. with a newly found blanket and drool stain. (sorry jeremy{jeff's roommate}) . I decided to do my laundry seeing as my socks were growing vital organs and starting to form a primitive language. Abby came by (after I beat the socks to submission and forced them to their watery graves) and we took a walk to the downtown.... i returned my CDs that I borrowed and got some new ones. Then we went to a vintage shop called AtomicKatz. They had some awesome clothing... I would have bought something, but as you can guess i had somewhat of a money problem. They were quite overpriced. There was this pair of pants for $150, it was too much, but they had some sweet sweaters for about 18 buckaroos, I would have snatched one of those suckers. But that was that.
Sunday I went to church in the morning. It was so nice... then I helped Ed make a Valentine Card for his secret crush. Then I made a card for my well-known crush. (if it isn't well-known to you... I am talking about ABBY!!!) so, then I tried to find something to do to celebrate V-day.. but there was nothing... I didn't have a car therefore no driving... so 6:30 rolled around and Abby IM'd me and said "i'm gonna go eat" so, I'm like "I'm gonna eat with you" so we had a romantic dinner at the Union. After that, I brought her to my room and gave her my card and my present. She loved it. Then we went on a short horse-drawn carraige ride around campus. It was cute. Then I went to her room and she gave me a card and a present. She got me a body pillow!!!! Sweet!!! I wanted one for like all year now. so I was totally stoked. She even used fabric paint and wrote "The most basic and powerful way to connect to another person is to listen. Just listen." so, either that means I don't listen enough and I should take the hint or that she enjoys the fact that I'm a good listener. I'm gonna say it is the later. But either way, I love it and I love Abby. Yay (think stereotypical homosexual lisp and jump in the air)!!!!

vitality is magnificent
So, sorry about not posting in a long while. The server was down or something. so, yeah. Second semester started this week. I have the busiest schedule of my entire school career. Well, not really... but I have to wake up early 4 out of 5 days of the week. .. well 7 days... but I meant school days... I think you knew that. Don't get smart with me!!!Hokay. Anyway, I just wanted to tell everyone that I made a good decision one time. about 7.2 months ago. Yes, this was the day I asked Abby Magalsky to be my girlfriend. It also happens to be the day she said yes. . . which is good. I was working on monday and Abby came by my work place and it made me so freak'n happy. it was awesome! Incredible! I looked over at her... sitting there... doing her homework. Then our eyes met.... then a smile. WOW!! That smile. I could have died right there happy; my life fulfilled knowing that that fair maiden loved me.... me just stareing at that remarkable smile... I'm in love with the most stunning woman in the world... Abby... *sigh*
