Anyone who knows me, knows that I love playing Settlers of Catan. Well, they finally came out with an online version of it. Sa-weet!!! I spend most of my working hours playing it. So, I thought that I should share the info with you. So, Check out Catan Online.

mmmmmmm I love

Well, this weekend was swell. I went to Madison on friday with Travis Pahl. It was good, but short. We only stayed to watch Travis Smith's Band. His band was really good. They will be at the Emerald Ball. So, that'll be sweet. We left shortly after because Travis needed sleep. Saturday I did laundry and Abby and I jammed out in the piano room for 3 hours. It was a lot of fun. Saturday night, Travis Pahl invited Abby and I to hang out with him and Shelly. So, we went out to Tortilla Flats for dinner and then got a movie and chilled at travis' apartment for the night. It was alot of fun. In the morning, Shelly and Travis made Abby and I breakfast. Pancakes, Donuts, Bacon, Orange Juice and fresh fruit. Yummy in my tummy! Sunday I was ultra lazy. So, yeah, that is my weekend.

Weekend Review

Well, This weekend was spectacular... Friday I caught a ride to Madison with Abby and her friend Amy. I hung out with Luke and Travis Smith. It was quite fun. They have the greatest movie rental place there. It seriously has every movie you ever want to see. Really... I mean, if I can say that it must be true. Anyhow, I found Casshern for sale and took out a loan to buy it. I've been looking for this movie all over the entire year, thanks to mike for turning my on to it. So, anyhow... I spent the night in Madison and came back saturday. I spent the afternoon watching my newly purchased movie. It was great... I will write a review soon about it. Then Abby invited me to go to Milwaukee to see some local bands. At first, I was skeptical, I didn't want to drive an hour and a half away and have the band suck and not be able to leave. But, I decided to drop my fears and give it a try. So, I went with Abby, Abby's friend Jennifer, and Jennifer's friend Martha. Abby payed for me to get in (thanks love).

The bands were all hard rock, not really my style, but it brought some memories back of when I used to be into that. It was fun. The bands were energitic and very personable. I also got to see Juiceboxxx. He is a white suburban rapper. I got a picture with him. SWEET! Anyhow, I had a lot of fun. I did a whole bunch of people watching... I think that probably was what was so fun about the night. yeah, I'm gonna say that's what it was. so, we came back.

Sunday I did alot of very little and decided I wanted to do the same today... so I did. Now, I'm off to work.

Funny Story

So, it is just another monday at my job. I'm working with Andi from 6pm - 10pm. Work is pretty slow. So, we are just sitting around surfing on computers. Andi is on the student employee computer and I am risking it by being on my boss's computer. No one is allowed on my boss's computer, but she left hours before and wouldn't be back till morning. Also, I'm not really logged in under my boss. I'm logged in as a student, so I can't really mess up any of my boss's files or anything... so I figure no big deal.

Well, my boss calls asking if she left something in the back room. I go check and let her know that its not there.

"bye" she hangs up the phone. I let Andi know that Judy, our boss, called about missing something.

"weird," was Andi's reply. Our boss is weird. Let me give you a little discription. Picture the stereotypical crazy and creep "cat lady"... seriously, she has pictures of cats all over the place. She is fifty to sixty something and hunched over. She isn't married and still lives with her parent, who have to pick her up from work. She mumbles when she talks and talks to whoever is around whether or not they are listening... and she complains about everything... from her back or feet to someone asking for time off. Oh well, it is also rumored that she takes a week off every year to attend a Star Trek convention. So, that's my boss.

Anyway, Andi and I are "working" and our good friend mike stopped in for a chat as he does most Monday nights. After a little bit, he asks to use the internet... so we let him come behind the desk and use the employee computer. I play some nice music from Judy's computer. It is nice and relaxing... I am working on a website design.

All of the sudden... out of no where... this hunch backed grumpy lady walks through the door, behind the desk, and to the back room; Judy. Mike looks at me with huge scared eyes. I motion for him to scram... and he promptly jumps over the desk and out of the room. I don't move because I figure I'm busted already might as well keep from looking more suspicious. Judy returns to the front room, huffing and puffing, I'm not sure if it is from walking around or if it is out of anger (because sometimes she huffs and puffs when things aren't going her way). Judy looks around and leaves without saying a word. Andi and I look at eaach other with terror.

"Did that just happen?," I ask. Andi shrugs speechlessly. We are still worried that she might return. But Mike being behind the desk was our biggest problem, so we aren't too worried. Mike returns to the room.

"She chased me!,"

"what!"

"I was just walking down the hallway and she was following me, so I cut down the stairs to the first floor and she followed me... she followed me nearly out of the building, but she stopped to talk to the janitor." Mike tells us with a frightened look on his face.

"Is is possible that she was just looking for the janitor and happened to take the same path you took? She was here looking for something after all." I try to reason. Mike looks at me.

"Yeah, That's probably it," Mike decides to take off and farewells all around.

"I don't want to come to work tomorrow," Andi starts in after mike leaves. "I have to come in and face Judy at noon. I don't want to lose my job." I look at her and shrug.

"I doubt it will come to that." I retort optomistically. We then discuss what we should tell her if she asks about the incident.

"Well, maybe we could act like mike wasn't here. If she asks... we'll act like she is crazy and not know what she is taking about." I suggested. Andi laughed, but ultimatly we decided to tell the truth.

So, the next day rolls around. Andi goes to work and comes back after her shift is done.

"she didn't say anything... she didn't even glare or anything... she just acted like normal." Andi tells me after she gets back from work. I don't know what to make of this...Well to try and shorten a long story... I was at work today and Judy said nothing about monday. The point is... that's really weird and I have a really weird boss.

Wednesday Onward

So, last tuesday was the best worst day of my life. I was so self loathing and hating. It was bad... like real bad. I was believing lies about myself. That's not good. Anyway, due to my awesome group of friends, I was able to come to that realization. Thanks everyone. So, I have a completely new outlook on life... and on myself. Basically I'm ok with the things I do and think. So, I am so freak'n happy. This week has been awesome. This weekend was amazing. I got to hang out with my best friend Turdipoo and we had a huge conversation about morals with our friend Travis Smith. So sweet. Anyhow, I hope everyone is having a fantastic day, week, etc. see ya'll later.

"There are two ways to slide easily through life: to believe everything or to doubt everything; both ways save us from thinking." -Alfred Korzybski-

so this just about sums up the last 3 years of my life. I think therefore I suffer.

well...

I'm sick. physically and mentally. I'm making things aweful. I hope this day finds all of you smiling. Because smiles are the greatest.

love,
