Summer

Oh my... well, it has been too long since I posted last. School is officially done for the year, my grades are breathtaking... and I have a job. yay and ugh. anyway, Abby had a birthday about a week and a half ago... it was quite a fun weekend. She turned 19... we went to the zoo and the next day I went fishing with her family. That was swell. I spent last week kind of looking for a job. I got an offer at MEC (Mayville Engineering Company). I'll be doing some sad gravy job. Oh well, it is money. Last weekend was the Emerald Ball. It was fantastic. The turn out was great and the bands rocked. I was a little bummed about the number of high schoolers there (too many) but it was nice to have them and see that they were pumped. Yep, then Saturday Abby and I went to a wedding in Oshkosh and then spent 5 1/2 hours in the mall. Waiting for the dance to start. yikes. We stepped into every store in the Appleton Mall. Craziness... The dance was... well, a dance... I'm not a huge fan, but it was alright... I got to slow dance with Abby and that was really awesome... so all in all a good day. Sunday, Travis Pahl, the magalsky siblings, and myself went over to the Magalsky farm in western wisconsin. Then Travis Smith met us there. We did a bunch of fishing and hung out at night. We went to Wisconsin Dells. Then the next day we did some more fishing. Most of the fishing was stream fishing (where you walk in a stream). It was so fun. I kept getting the line caught in trees and grass and things. But that's ok. We did a little lake fishing and I caught my first fishing. Luke thought it was a white bass, but his dad thought otherwise. I didn't keep it, but it was fun anyhow. Today I started my job. I hate factory jobs, but I will get by. at least this factory job plays music over their loud speaker, that is so nice. (last summer I didn't get that pleasure). Well, that is all to report for now. Post will be infrequent because I don't really have internet access or much time during the week. Hope everyone is doing well. bye

uhm

Well, I'm done with school. I think I did well. I can't wait for the summer to be over though and to be able to move into my apartment. Nothing really new around here. Abby's parents got me a fishing pole for my birthday. Sweet! I can't wait to cast that sucker and catch some water dwellers. bwa ha ha. okbye

My Birthday Weekend

Well, My birthday weekend started out quite swell. Friday I grabbed up a bunch of stuff from my dorm room and headed home. Oh yeah, there were a lot of hail falling from the sky; friday in oshkosh. So, that was amazing. Then I went home and what did I do at home? Well, I don't recall. But I'm sure it was great. oh yes, I played cards with my favorite dad in the whole world. Then all of the sudden I won. So, then I went to bed. After bed, I woke up. That was nice. Mommy made crepes for breakfast. I love crepes. If you don't know what they are... look em up, cuz I recently became to lazy to link certain things. Then I read some articles and then my dad came home from work at 10 ish and we went to Fond du lac and got a new used car. yay! and ugh. so, then we came home and abby came over and cut my hair (she has never given a hair cut before). My hair looks awesome. Then we made kabobs. then dad grilled them. then everyone ate them. then everyone was full. Then I opened presents for my birthday. Mom and dad got me some sandals, cheez-its, and money. so, now I have sandals and cheezits, and money. Well now, can you guess what my most amazing friend Abby got me for my birthday? Calm down I'm going to tell you. She got me a vintage electric organ.

Yeah, I mean like one of those organs you stumble across about once every two months at that thrift store that you just happened upon due to circumstances that you aren't fully aware of, and you see this beast of a machine and play on it a little and your heart melts and you know that this organ was meant for you... I mean it was shaped to your oddly disfigured fingers and had enough buttons to keep a hyper acctive kid busy for... hours. Yeah, I think you all know what I'm talking about. It is that organ that when you reach for your wallet, you realize that you gave you last dollar to your neighbor kid for that terrible glass of lemonade that he made you drink if front of him to show how amazing it was. Then tears come to your eyes when you realize there is no way to purchase this machine above all machines. You spend a few hours saying your goodbyes and cry as your mother drags you to the car and you know that you will never again be as happy as you for one moment were with this beautiful organ. Well, Let me tell you. Abby found this organ... and she didn't buy lemonade so she was able to purchase that sweet creature and you know what she did. She said "Peter Simon. I love you so much. I also know that you love vintage electric organs. I also know that your birthday is like right about now... and well, I want to give you this organ." I didn't know what do. I mean... my gracious, it was fantastic. I didn't even know what to do or say. So, I just let my heart beat faster and and my eyes get bigger and my soul become more.... soul-i-er? so, yeah, I was and am pretty dang happy about that.

Then we played Settlers of Catan and I choose some bad spots to place my settlements to begin. Well, The thing is... abby won. She did quite a good job of it too. Then sleep. Then wake. I went to church and helped do things. Then I came home and had dinner with my mommy and I sang her a song and said "hey mommy, your my favorite" and then I sang her a song. then she opened presents. Then I decided I was tired and I took a nap. Then I awoke and and went back to school. Then Abby and I played piano, and I got sad... then Travis came and gave me a birthday present wrapped in electrical tape like a true electrician. It was Amelie the movie. Sweet, I didn't have that one... I found out later that he had to call Abby to figure out what I would like. Abby is so wonderfully amazing. Man, I love her so much. Then jeff came and visited and then he left and then matt and I went to dairy queen and then we came back and then i went to abby's dorm to surprise her and then we went on a walk. It was beautiful weather. I got to walk around by the river with a beautiful girl. We got to stare at the beautiful river. The whole thing was beautiful. But for some reason I have a way of ruining things. I talked about my feelings on life and they weren't too cheery, so I was kind of a downer. But if everything was always peachy it would become aweful monotonous. so, then I walked her home. Then I headed to my dorm. On my way I saw a group that was congragated outside my dorm building. As I got closer I recognized my roommate Mike and then my other friends, matt, tom, and jeff. All of the sudden a blaze of 20 candles came out of nowhere and a song of a joyous occasion in celebration of one's birth was heard. Well, It turns out that I was 20 minutes after my birthday finished but even a bike police officer sang to me and wished me a happy year of living. Wow, I have amazing friends. I'm sorry I ever doubted it. God, you have blessed me in so many ways, with so many people and so many happy things in my 20 years of life. and what a fun life I have had so far and I look forward to everything you have in store for me for the next 40 to 60 years. All the friends and events and love and problems and resolves and animals and nature and wow, just wonderful. so, thanks.

so they tell me

Today is my birthday. I am now 20 years of age. yay! Also, thanks mom for having me. Also, thanks dad for raising me. Also, thanks everyone that loves me for doing that.

Love
Petey
