A month above all months

Well, Golly a whole month went by and I haven't told ya'll anything about it... My Bad. I'm going to have to say that this past month has probably been my favorite month so far in my entire life. yeah, I'm pretty sure that is a true statement. Weekdays are just for working. The thing that makes this particular June, well, this summer so good is the weekends. The Weekdays are terrible, I try to make them go as fast as possible. Abby and I don't even get to talk to each other because she is on second shift and I am on first. So, that sucks, but I live for the weekend. Ok, anyway... let us start from where I left off. Ya'll know about the fishing weekend at the Magalsky farm... so let's jump to the next.

June 3-5
This weekend wasn't amazing but Emily had her graduation party on the 4th. I got to chill with some extended family and then on sunday was the ceremony... I got to see Turdipoo for a little bit and then hang out with Abby. Mom left during the week on tuesday night to go to California for the rest of the summer. So no more mom for a while, just dad, me, Emily, and Patric.

June 10-12
This weekend Abby and I hung out with Travis and Shelly. We went up friday night and wandered around the appleton mall. The weather was getting crazy and there was a tornado warning. Travis wanted to go find a twister, but no one else really wanted to. We just headed to Travis' apartment and hung out, played guitar, and then drifted to sleep. Saturday, The four of us went to IHOP for breakfast (it was somewhat disappointing, oh well). Then we went to a small private pond in Fond Du Lac and went fishing. It was fun because the pond was man made and they put fish in there. It was hard not to catch fish, but somehow I managed to only catch one (I hooked two others but they got away before I could reel them out of the water). That was fun. Then Abby and I went to her house and Travis and Shelly went to a festival in FDL. We were supposed to meet up later but never really did. Sunday was just a nap kind of day. oh yeah, I played Steel Drums on sunday... it was super fun. I love playing steel drums.

June 17-19
This weekend Travis, Jeff, and I went to Wausau (2.5 hours northwest of mayville) to visit our good friend Mike Heyer. We left kind of late on friday and met up with Mike and headed over to a campfire thing. We just chilled with people we didn't know. Then at around 2 in the morning, we went to wal-mart and goofed around until we got yelled at. It wasn't hard to fall asleep that night. We woke up surprisingly early (around 10, or was it earlier?). Anyway, Mike's parents made us breakfast, but Jeff and Travis wanted to go to Perkins... dang. so, we went to Perkins (it was much better than IHOP, but probably not as good as the Heyer's meal). After Breakfast we drove around for a bit went to a few stores. I went to Fleet Farm to get a good belt. Then we went and saw Batman Begins. It was a good movie. Then we went to a bead store that Mike's girlfriend (Michelle) works at. It was amazing. It had so many cool beads for necklaces and stuff. I was overwhelmed. so many choices... anyway, I found a few that I thought Abby would like and then I found some that I thought I might use and I bought them. The beads were priced somewhat expensive, but Michelle gave me an awesome deal. After that, we headed home. Jeff dropped Travis and I off at Travis' apartment and then Jeff had to head home. Travis and I hung out and played tennis for a while. Then he drove me back home and we had a good heart to heart talk during out travel. Sunday I played steel drums again, once again it was so much fun. Then Abby got back from her family trip and I rushed over to her house. We watched Singin' in the Rain and I kept saying how much I wanted to learn how to dance and then I had to go home and sleep... so I did. Patric left the following Tuesday for Florida and then Australia for the summer. So just me, my dad, and Emily left.

June 24-25
Well, I must say this weekend was by far the best one. Friday I didn't really do much I rushed to finish a present. Saturday, amazing... Abby and I decided to celebrate our 1 year of dating anniversary today. We went to Devil's Lake (a beautiful part of wisconsin) and got there around noon. We started off with a picnic Abby packed. It was great; she knew just what I liked. We had sandwiches (mine was bologna) and chips and granola bars. She made a fruit salad, Yummy! And she made chocolate covered strawberries for dessert!!!!! How sweet is that?!? (I mean sweet in both ways; cool and kind/loving). It was so awesome. She also brough peaches along which she know are probably my favorite fruit of all time. So, that was the meal, during which I gave her her present; a book I wrote for her and asked people to help illustrate. I read it to her right on the picnic bench. She absolutely loved it. It was great. Then we packed up and went hiking. Devil's lake has some awesoem trails. The first one we hiked was a short easy one that had a waterfall at the end it was really cool the trail followed a small stream. We went between some cool rock walls and stuff. The waterfall wasn't huge but it was cool looking. I want to go dive into the little water reserve at the bottom, but I couldn't legally. That made me decide I want to be a wildlife ranger. That would be so awesome. Anyway, After that trail we went to a bit harder one, we had to go up a steep trail... it was quite a climb but so fun. We saw people climbing cliffs with ropes and the whole thing. When we got to the top, we followed another trail and saw some amazing views. I love nature. We were at the top looking down. It was great. Then we had to come down. so we did. Interestingly enough, coming down seemed to be more of a strain that going up. Perhaps you knew that already. Anyway, the trails took us about 3 hours. They were so fun. Abby and I were all sweaty and stinky by the time we were done... so we headed near a camp ground area and got showers, put on some nice clothes, and we headed to Madison. On our way there we had to cross a lake, or maybe it was river, but we had to take a ferry. That was fun. Once in Madison we hadn't really made plans to eat anywhere specifically so we looked for a place that looked nice. We found one called Fyfe's Corner Bistro. It was just what we were looking for. It was really nice place, not shirt and tie, but not Applebee's either. The service, food, and atmosphere were really perfect. Abby and I had a great meal. She had Pasta and I had chicken. Then we headed home. We talked about memories from when we first met and we nervous around each other and stuff like that. So much fun. Then Abby gave me an awesome present. She put three picture frames together one above the other. All three are pictureso of her holding a piece of paper. The top one says "I". The second has a picture of a heart. The third say "U". ahhhhhhhhhhhh. What a wonderful present. I have it hanging in my room. The whole day was just an amazing day. Sunday, Abby came over and hung out with Dad, Emily and I. Then we had to part again. A week. argh. Emily left for Mexico on Thursday. Down to two. Dad and I.

July 1-4
This past weekend was quite fun also. Friday I had a little campfire with my good friends; Abby, Luke, Jeff, Travis, and Shelly. It was nice. Saturday, Abby went to Madison and everyone else was busy during the day so I kind of bummed around until Abby got back and then we hung out... went on a walk, watched night appear, played music, made supper. Sunday, Abby and I went to my church and then went out to for chinese food with my Dad and James' girlfriend, Jasmine. After lunch, Abby and I headed up to Oshkosh to meet up with Travis and Shelly. We went and saw War of the Worlds, which is a nice hollywood film. The general population would enjoy watching it once or twice. But I would suggest seeing it in theatre because the effects work best on the big screen. After the movie we got a bite to eat and headed to a local festival in Oshkosh. We watched a good fireworks show and then went on some rides. Somewhere all the line of my life, I told myself that I don't like carni rides, but I let myself enjoy these ones and they were fun. After that we went back to the apartment and just crashed. Monday, Abby and I left to go to summerfest. We stopped at our houses and then headed to Milwaukee. We met up with Turdipoo and got to see his new apartment. Turdi invited us to a BBQ that he was invited to, so we went and had some brats and burgers. It seemed like Abby and I were young'ns in a mid-twenty year old crowd. I tried not to let it bother me. Everyone was really nice. We played a quick card game and then headed over to summerfest. We went for one reason alone. Ben Folds!! He was really good. I think I liked the Ben Folds show better last year, but I still really enjoyed this one (I actually recognized the songs this year). Then we came home and slept. Now I am here dreding work.

Well, that is it for now. see ya'll again in a month. Thanks for read'n.
