so far right now Well, I haven't updated in a while... I suppose it is about time. Uhm... yeah... so nothing really has been going on... everyone around here is complaining about finals... but, I haven't had any. I didn't have any, I should say. I had some projects I needed to get done, but that was really all the stress I had to deal with. Also, I didn't get ripped off by book buy backs... because I didn't have any books this semester. Sweet!! So, yeah... I guess I was done with this semester on tuesday that is when I had my last anything due... but I had two classes after that... so technically I didn't finish until today. But, I am looking forward to a nice Christmas break... I am going to try my very hardest to get thefatefulpromise.com up and running for the nice fellas. Yeah, so... that is going to be my project...I am slowly approaching broke... which seems to happen every year around this time. This is good, because if I am broke I can't spend any money and I tend to make better purchasing decisions... as in no purchasing decisions. Yeap, Oh, I also started an art journal... I think everyone should have one. Take a small journal, or sketchbook, or whatever and try to make an art piece in it everyday. Have fun! Use your imagination. Maybe you want to make an entry everday that describes your day in someway. But it could be anything you want it to be... that is really the beauty of it. Mine looks pretty cool so far. It is fun to see what ideas I come up with. It is also fun to be doing something and think to myself "Hey, I could use this in my art journal". yep, so everyone should do it... it is more about the creative exercising that it is about making a master piece or worrying about something to look good. Butch is coming to mayville for a while over break... sweet, it should be fun. I hope he doesn't distract me from my site build'n. Boy oh boy, that is really going to be a tough job... prolly like a 9 - 5 type thing... sick... but, I like doing it... just hard to make time... sorry to The Fateful Promise for taking so freak'n long. Then again, I'm not getting paid, so, I dunno... you get what you payed for? Okay then, I'll see ya'll in a different post. Being a Russian Spy Okay so check it out... I tried out for a musical and I really didn't think I was going to get in... but thanks to luck (or more likely God or fate [some would argue those are the same thing]) I got a part... like a leadish part. My character has a name, Rick Jones. I didn't really have a song picked out to sing for the try out... but during acting class, the day auditions were set, someone had a Les Miserables song book and I'm like "hey, do you think I could borrow that for my audition" and they were like "actually I'm singing something from Rent, so, you can have the book for a while". Seeing as I was in "Les Mis" in high school as Jean Valjean, I knew a solo that he sang. I haven't sang it for anyone in 3 years, but meh... anyway, after class I went to a piano room to sing through it a couple times... then I went home... ran through my monologue... and then went to auditions... that is why I say God must a really been behind me... cuz I was not really prepared. But I went into it with confidence and that helped.Anyway... that's awesome... so I kinda wanna tell you what the script says for the description of my character... check it out. RICK JONES: 25-35, "noir" Leading Man. Shifty, sexy, aloof, and sly; a military high-ranker who's actually a red agent. Does brief fake Russian accent. Powerful legit baritone to top "G," ... (Prototypes: Richard Denning in Creature From the Black Lagoon and Tom Tryon in I Married a Monster from Outer Space.) I mean... if that isn't a description of me... I don't know what is... Ya'll better come wee the musical in march... it is called Zombies from the Beyond. It is suppposed to be like a 1950's sci-fi movie. It is going to be awesome. |
